<p>Information/ marking of standards compliance are introduced to ensure that consumers are provided with important details of a product to enable them to make appropriate personal choices.</p>

<p>Product recalled is the withdrawal from distribution, sale, or use by a consumer of any product that does not comply with the law in Malaysia and is due to the safety issue.</p>

<p>Product prohibited for sale is any products that has been declared in the Gazette to be prohibited goods where the goods have caused injury, likely to cause injury or unsafe.</p>
